| We had to make an unscheduled stop at Bridport & discovered the wonderful "Old Mill House" Bed & Breakfast. Catering to our needs was "second nature" to the delightful hosts Fi & Malcolm, the beds provided a sound nights sleep & the rooms were spotlessly clean. It was the warmth & comfort many a weary traveller seeks yet seldom finds. The food & friendly service will see us return again. Our guests are free to enjoy a walk in the ample grounds and unwind whilst listening to the River Asker running by. We are just 3 miles from the village of Burton Bradstock at the westerly edge of Dorset’s famous Chesil Beach. We know that you will enjoy this wonderful setting for your perfect break. Come for a romantic weekend, or experience one of our weekend workshops we could even organise a private house party to celebrate a special event with your family and friends.
Explore the beaches along the famous Jurassic Coast line and hunt for fossils or simply laze the day away. Set out to walk the South West Coast Path along this World Heritage Site. Hit the Literary trail, uncovering the Dorset that inspired Thomas Hardy and Jane Austen and provided the backdrop for such classics as Moonfleet and The French Lieutenant’s Woman.
Savour speciality dishes and delicious local produce, in local inns and restaurants that are fast establishing this part of Dorset as a centre for fine, natural foods.

Tariff
Adults: £40 per person per night ~ including breakfast
Children : We offer a 50% discount for 12 - 16 yrs if sharing a room with 2 adults. Regrettably our facility is NOT suitable for Children under 12 years old due to the river Asker running through the grounds.
Payment
To be made on arrival by cheque or cash ~ as we do not accept credit or debit cards Check in from 4.00pm. Check out by 10.00am
Terms & Booking Conditions
A Cheque deposit equivalent to your first night's stay will secure your booking. This is non-refundable. We will post you a confirmation upon receipt of your deposit.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation less than 21 days prior to the date of arrival, we reserve the right to charge 75% of the accommodation price unless we are able to resell the room.
Parking
Coming down the hill into Bridport from the Dorchester direction on the A35, the Texaco garage is on your left just before the East Road Roundabout and is your land mark to find us. You will see opposite the Texaco our white front porch and we have ample off road parking to the rear of the house accessed through a walled gap between two houses, just, two doors up from our White front porch (back in the Dorchester direction). Go through this gap over a small bridge and then keeping to the left all the time, park beyond the garage. Enter the back garden by the small wooden gate next to the 5 bar gate, keep to the left hand path and continue until you see the bridge, enjoy a short stroll over our bridge with the River Asker running underneath. Enter through the conservatory.

Can be ordered with various Vegetarian fillings such as; Fresh bread or Rolls Cheese, salad & tomato, Egg mayonnaise, Cheese & pickle. Pieces of Fruit, Crisps, a Chocolate bar, or a Cereal bar, a drink. An easy lunch for your day out in Dorset or even, for your journey home @ £6.00 each
Holistic Pampering
Holistic Therapies can be arranged during your stay. Reiki, Shiatsu Massage, Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology; even a private Clairvoyance Reading, each charged at £40 per hour. Be kind to yourself and enjoy any of these in the comfort and privacy of your own room. What a perfect way to relax and de-stress as part of your wonderful stay in beautiful, Dorset. To avoid disappointment treatments are best pre- booked. NB We also offer Meditation and Relaxation sessions free of charge .
